During the 12th Five Year Plan period, blast furnaces of 400 cubic meters and below, converters and electric furnaces of 30 tons and below will be completely eliminated. At the same time, we should accelerate the elimination of backward products such as 235 MPa, 335 MPa Steel Bars and hot-rolled silicon steel sheets. Speed up the revision of the standard conditions for the production and operation of the iron and steel industry, continue to promote the standard management of the production and operation of iron and steel enterprises, and gradually force enterprises that do not meet the requirements of the standard conditions to withdraw from the market.
